Green Smoothie with Parsley

Ingredients:

½ bunch of frozen parsley
6 ripe bananas (fresh, not frozen)
2 handfuls of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
2 tablespoons of barley grass juice powder (optional)
1 tablespoon of hemp seeds (optional)
2 cups of water
2 cups of fresh orange juice

Directions:

  1. Blend the frozen parsley in a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. If too thick add more orange juice or water until desired consistency is achieved.

Hint:

Ripe bananas with brown spots are better for digestion. This is due to the fact that as the banana ripens the starch turns into a simple sugar, making bananas easier to digest.
