6 ripe bananas (fresh or frozen)
1 mango (fresh or frozen)
2 handfuls of spinach or 3 leaves of kale
2 tablespoons of barley grass juice powder (optional)
2 cups of water
2 cups of fresh orange juice or water
- Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. If too thick add more orange juice or water until desired consistency is achieved.
It’s best if one ingredient (bananas or mango) is frozen and the other is fresh.
Ripe bananas with brown spots are better for digestion. This is due to the fact that as the banana ripens the starch turns into a simple sugar, making bananas easier to digest.
