Ingredients for 30 pralines:

1½ cup of cooked chickpeas
1 tablespoon of peanut butter
1 cup of pitted dates, soaked in the boiled water for at least 15 minutes
½ cup of desiccated coconut
juice from ½ lemon
½ cup of desiccated coconut, additional for coating


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend them until they are combined and smooth in texture.
  2. Shape the mixture into balls (walnut size).
  3. Coat balls with additional desiccated coconut.
  4. Store covered in fridge before serving.


It’s easy to coat balls by simply rolling them on a tray filled with desiccated coconut.
