CALORIES BURNING SOUP

Ingredients:

1 onion, diced
250 g / 8.82 oz of carrot, half sliced
250 g / 8.82 oz of yellow or red bell pepper (capsicum), chopped
250 g / 8.82 oz of kohlrabi (German turnip), diced
250 g / 8.82 oz of white cabbage, shredded
2 tomatoes, diced (best if peeled)
1 tablespoon of oil
1 ¼ litres of boiling water
2 tablespoons of dried onion
spices (optional): salt, pepper, curry, basil, paprika, parsley, soy sauce

Directions:

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan. Add onion and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add remaining fresh vegetables and fry for 4-6 minutes stirring occasionally.
  3. Transfer everything from the pan to a large pot.
  4. Add boiling water and spices, then cook for 10-15 minutes.
